Skin tag is small (benign) tag of skin that looks as a small piece of soft, hanging skin. Skin tags usually on inconvenient places on the body, and most commonly form around the eyes, on the neck, in the armpits, around the breasts and in the groin area.
Although skin tags aren’t dangerous, they most certainly cause a huge discomfort.
Skin tags are associated with obesity, but that isn’t the only reason they form. Sometimes tight, rubbing clothes can also cause skin tags to grow. Women who are pregnant will also see skin tag formations.
Pregnant women are also more likely to notice skin tags on their body.
They can be removed, but the most common methods include freezing and cutting skin tags off. A dermatologist normally handles these methods of removal, but, there is a simpler way to remove skin tags at home. You should rub apple cider vinegar on the skin tag 2 to 3 times a day in a period of a week, and the skin tag will fall off.
Apple cider vinegar is your best friend when it comes to removing skin tags. Apply it on your growths 2-3 times a day for a week. Your skin tag will “give up,” and eventually fall off.
Soak a cotton pad in the vinegar, and apply it directly on the skin tag. Secure with a bandage. But, first do a skin irritation test to see if apple cider vinegar works well on your skin.
